About Malaysia Office
Prior to the incorporation of Webforge (KL) Sdn Bhd, the company was formed in 1990 under the name of Oriental Metal Malaysia owned by a local Malaysia group Selangor Dredging Bhd. Then on 1st March 1996, a joint venture with Lionweld Kennedy of the United Kingdom was formed and thereafter the company was renamed as LKOM Malaysia Sdn Bhd which means Lionweld Kennedy Oriental Metal joint venture.
Rename of Malaysia Office
As the parent holding company of Webforge, Pacifica acquired Lionweld Kennedy of the UK in 1998, the overall group business was rationalized and since then Webforge took over the operation of this Malaysia entity. In 2000, LKOM (M) Sdn Bhd was renamed again to Webforge (KL) Sdn Bhd so as to streamline all businesses of Webforge in Asia.
